I started repairing my rusty as an old womens snatch crusty sills this weekend, armed with Hughs 40 year old mig and a very limited welding knowledge I managed to sort them out:

Big Brakes
My 282mm MG ZS 160 discs arrived the other day so I threw those on, should have some awesome stopping power now :)
Spent quite a while modifying the carriers as the discs foul them if you just plonk them straight on. Managed to take a chunk out of my hand with the angle grinder at the same time as well...

Spraying
Haven't updated this for a while so here goes
Basically this is a post to show all the work that has gone on since the last post. Its in a rough order of what has been done.
Welding the sills:
The battery tray that I made to relocate the battery to the boot:
Me modeling my frankly fucking amazing battery tray:
Prelude calipers fitted, only got 260mm disks in there at the moment because I haven't got round to buying the 282mm ones yet:
Me getting stuck in and doing some work (think this is a great picture):
This is also a shot that I love, taken about 1am in the morning after working from about 8am:
The pet cat that turned up while we were working on the car and has hung around since:

The 'Weekend build'
This weekend is D-Day for the CRX now, Hugh has been down all weekend and we have been working on the CRX. We have run into a few problems such as the clutch I had not fitting :( Desperately trying to get hold of a new clutch now so we can get the engine back in!
Also got some brakes on though, VTEC hubs and disks under Prelude calipers which will take up to 282mm disks and just about go under 15 inch wheels with a bit of persuasion from an angle grinder... (no pics of these yet but will get some tomorrow).
Just a few pictures here including me and Hugh in some rather fetching smurf outfits that my dad managed to find.
Lots and lots of confusing wires

Sorting out the Bodywork
I have basically been working sorting out all the bodywork and getting that up to scratch recently:
New doors fitted:
Made some new mud flaps from fiberglass and filler :)
Boot lid filled and holes drilled for the VTEC spoiler:
Sunroof filled sanded down and finished:
Front arches removed the tiny tiny amount of rust of these:
Also just a few shots of the engine bay before the turbo goes in:
