New Shiny Bits

I went down to London to pay Stuart (Stoo) from CRX-UK a visit and pick up a few new parts that I needed (I also got my turbo kit off this guy, top bloke if anyone is thinking about dealing with him, he also has a business setup with Jon (Amplereason) and trade under the username sixpointnine)

Some new doors:

Stripping Her Out

As this is mainly going to be a track car I want as little weight as possiable, hence all the crap out the back has to go, here are a few photos of the stripped out rear:

The Rear Impact

This car is a CAT C insurance write off at the moment due to a rear impact, these pictures show the damage to the rear which is minimal and has since been knocked back out with a lump hammer (farmer mechanic style).

It is kind of hard to see the damage but here it is repaired:

Assessing the state of the Car

Hmm, Rust rust and some more rust, I knew that plastic trim was hiding something! I knew it was going to be there so wasn't a massive surprise when I found it.

Drivers door, the passenger one was just as bad as well:

Drivers sill, again passenger one is just as bad:

Another shot of the sill:

And towards the back of the sill:

The Beginning

Hello and welcome to the blog that I have created for the CRX Project, I figured it would be a lot better to make this rather than upload the images again and again to various websites.

I'm going to back track a bit here and post the pictures in the order than things were done.

This is what she was like when I first got her:
